You've filled out your FAFSA, now what?

After completing and submitting the FAFSA, you will be prompted with a confirmation page containing your EFC (Expected Family Contribution).  This figure represents how much your family is expected to contribute to your college education for a total of one year.  In most cases, the lower your EFC, the more financial aid you will receive.  Additional factors are considered when determining your EFC, such as;  family size, income, savings, etc. You may call the Seward County Community College/Area Technical School Financial Aid Office with your EFC figure and we will give you an expected amount of awarded aid.  You don't have to be going to SCCC/ATS, we'll still help you in any way we can.
